Forest Wildlife Asia, is a non-profit organisation, that aims to regenerate forests, protect the wildlife and replant trees where illegal mining has scarred the forests. The forest of Soueast Asia Has been reduced considerably over the past fifty years, and is no less important than that of the Amazon rainforest.
Employing the indiginous peoples of the forests FWA wish to ensure that the native people of the forests are trained in sustainable forest management and are rewarded for their stewardship; giving guidance and protection of our visitors, both volunteers or on adventurous outings, enjoying local festivities, and generally throughout their stay.
A Forest Village: Since local people of the forest area will be employed to look after the needs of visitors, a nominal charge will be made for the accommodation in the forest-village; members will enjoy the benefit of a discount of course. Alternatively, arrangementsv can be made for hotel accomodation.
Visitors’ accommodation will be separate from that of local tribes, for the obvious reason of causing as littledisruption to their way of life as possible.Their privacy needs to be respected and protected; some tribes’ people still roam the forest half naked, and most children play in their settlements innocently running around nude for most of the day, and should not become a curiosity for tourist. The forest can be experienced and enjoyed without invading their private domain.
A Poor Existance: Naturally, all visitors would be encouraged to be generous as these people have a poor existence. In these way, with members contributions, we are not only increasing forestation, which produces more oxygen into the atmosphere, more rain clouds, and nimbus-cumulus, that generate stratospheric storms; ultimately that upward lightning produces more ozone, and reduces the harmful effects of the sun's rays on our planet and it's weather system. Therefore, everyone is a winner.

If you would like to join FWA in its endeavours, you can enrol as a member for as little as $5 per month, or $60 per year. Each membership will have a unique number, these numbers are entered into a raffle draw every quarter; the first prise being a free trip to one of our forest villages, either take part in replanting, simply enjoy a holiday see the wildlife or take part in a paint-ball game.
It is your choice what you give, the big your donation the greater effect you will have on saving the forests, and ultimately, we hope, saving the planet.
